Why does everyone crowd the doors on the 7:15 express train?
I've been taking the 7:15 express from Oakdale to the city for years, and people always block the doors even when the middle of the car is empty. This makes it hard for people to get on and off at the Maple Street stop. I timed it once, and it added a full minute to our station time. Has anyone else found a polite way to suggest people move down the aisle?

The 7:18 from Westgate is the same, I've started just saying "excuse me, coming through" with a smile.

Honestly a full minute delay sounds like a stretch, I've taken that Oakdale line before. People bunch up because they want to get off fast at Maple, it's a huge stop. Tbh it's just how crowds work on any busy train, not some personal attack. I say just wait the extra few seconds, getting worked up over it makes the commute worse for you.

Ngl the worst is when people block the doors to chat with someone they just saw. Honestly saw two people do a full catch-up in the doorway at Elm Street last week. It just makes the whole crowd thing way slower for everyone.
