Bus driver told me I was boarding wrong for 6 months
I ride the 42 bus downtown every morning and I always just tapped my card and walked to the back. Then last week this driver stopped me and said I need to wait until people get off first before I get on. I felt so dumb cause I been doing it wrong for like 6 months and nobody ever said anything. Now I stand to the side and let people exit before I step on and it actually makes way more sense cause the aisle doesnt get clogged up. Has anyone else had a driver call them out on something you thought was normal?

Oh wait, is this really that big of a deal? I mean yeah it makes more sense your way now but the driver probably coulda just let it slide since you've been doing it for 6 months with no issues.

Man, tell me about it. I did the same thing for almost a year on the 15 bus. Felt like a total idiot when the driver finally called me out. @sanchez.blake I get what you're saying, but I think the driver finally got sick of it, you know? Six months of me blocking the aisle probably wore them down. Now I just stand there like a statue, waiting for everyone to file off before I even move.
