I read somewhere that the screens actually helped reduce panic during delays, which makes sense to me.

Yeah, you know what, I used to think the screens were just a waste of money, honestly. But reading about how they calm people down during delays actually changed my mind. It makes sense now that seeing the same info everyone else has kind of stops the rumors and worry. I guess having something to watch and know helps people feel less stuck. That's a pretty smart way to use them.
