TIL my old way of handling a silt-out versus using a proper lift bag saved a 3-hour job in Lake Erie last week.
The lift bag got the pipe section up in 20 minutes without zero viz, but my old method of just trying to muscle it along the bottom would have taken all day and been way more dangerous, so what's your go-to piece of gear that you resisted at first but now swear by?

What's your old method for moving stuff on the bottom? I used to just drag things until I finally got a good bag.

Actually, dragging was the new way. The real old method was just picking everything up by hand. Took forever.
