Tried a new epoxy anchor on a concrete beam and the pull-out test numbers were way off
Used a brand I hadn't tried before on a small office job, and the test rig showed only 60% of the advertised load after the full cure time. The rep said the surface prep was fine, so now I'm wondering if the batch was bad. Has anyone else had a specific epoxy just not perform lately?

Had the same thing happen with a different brand last year. We sent a sample from the same tube to an independent lab for testing. Their report confirmed the mix ratio was off, which gave us the proof we needed for a full credit from the supplier. Never trust the rep's word over your own test data. Getting that third party check saved us a lot of back and forth.
