Swapped from paper blueprints to tablet plans on a big build in Denver last year

I used to carry around a whole roll of prints that would get wet and torn by lunchtime, now everything is on a ruggedized iPad and I can zoom into details instantly. Has anyone else made the switch and found the battery life just doesn't hold up on a full site day?

Yeah but are you running a high brightness setting all day with the screen on? That kills my battery by 1 or 2 PM. I have to bring a backup battery pack and charge it during lunch. What kind of battery life are you actually getting on a full 10 hour day?

Dang @janac51, have you checked if your phone is overheating? I noticed my battery tanks way faster when it's hot, even with brightness down. Ever tried keeping it in the shade or a cooler spot?
