Vent: Bought a $40 'artisan' coffee scoop that's basically a toy shovel

I saw this fancy copper scoop online, and the site said it was the perfect tool for dosing your beans. It's so shallow and flimsy that it barely holds 10 grams, and the handle bent the first time I used it. What's a good, heavy-duty scoop that won't fall apart?

Yeah, just grab a stainless steel one from a restaurant supply shop. They're cheap and you can't break them.

That "artisan" scoop sounds like a total scam. You just need a basic stainless steel one from a restaurant supply store. Those things are built to last forever.

My grandma's old diner scoop outlasted three of my fancy kitchen gadgets. The handle finally cracked after like forty years of daily use. Sometimes the plain stuff just works better.
