That single-origin Ethiopian coffee I snubbed turned out to be amazing

I rolled my eyes when my buddy spent $28 on a bag of Yirgacheffe from a local roaster in Portland. I figured it was just fancy marketing for overpriced beans, you know? But then he made me a pour-over with it last weekend (using a $15 gooseneck kettle I always made fun of) and the blueberry notes hit me like a truck. I actually apologized to the beans. Has anyone else been humbled by a coffee they swore was overhyped?

Gas station coffee hits different when you're not paying attention.
