I thought the AeroPress was overhyped until one camping trip changed my mind
A few buddies and I went camping up near Flagler Beach back in March, and I almost left my AeroPress at home because I figured it was just internet hype. I brought it anyway, and on the second morning I made a cup using water I heated on the camp stove and let it steep for about 90 seconds before pressing. That cup came out smoother than anything my old drip machine ever made, no grit, no bitterness, and it took me maybe 3 minutes start to finish. Now I use it at home on weekends even though I have two other brewers sitting on the counter. Anyone else end up loving a brewer they thought was all talk?
