Debugged a typo for 2 hours at a coffee shop in Austin
I camped out at this tiny coffee shop near UT last Tuesday to fix a script that kept crashing, and it turned out the issue was a single semicolon I'd typed as a colon. The barista kept refilling my mug and giving me these looks like I was haunting the place, which honestly made the whole thing funnier. Has anyone else had a bug that was painfully dumb but somehow took forever to spot?

Used to think debugging was all about clever logic and complex fixes, but after a similar 3 hour hunt for a missing bracket, I totally get it now. The dumb ones are always the sneakiest, right?
