My neighbor told me to stop bagging my grass clippings and just leave them on the lawn

After 2 summers of doing it his way, my grass is greener and I haven't touched a fertilizer bag since, has anyone else tried skipping the bagging step?

@jasonc50 Actually wait, I think you got the date wrong on that. It was back in March, not April. Easy mistake to make though
