I just found out my old Lite-Brite pegs were worth $40 on eBay and I almost tossed them
Last weekend I was cleaning out my parents' garage in Sacramento and found my Lite-Brite from like 1993 in a moldy box, and I was about to dump the whole thing until my sister checked eBay on her phone. Turns out just the pegs from that era sell for $40 to $60 because the newer ones snap too easy, and I had 200 of them sitting in a Ziploc for 30 years. Did anyone else keep their old toy pieces without knowing they were worth actual money, or am I the only one who almost threw cash in the trash?
Why do our parents always know before we do? I gave away a whole bin of old Polly Pockets at a yard sale for like two bucks. Past me was out here just handing out retirement funds for free.
