Hitting 300+ Hot Wheels cars made me realize something

I hit 320 Hot Wheels cars last week, and I honestly didn't even notice until I tried to pack them up. That number surprised me because I always thought I had maybe 150 or so. It made me wonder if I'm collecting for fun or just out of habit now. When I look back at my favorites from when I was 8, they still feel exciting, but most of the newer ones just sit in a bin. Has anyone else hit a milestone number with their old toy collection and felt weird about it?

Maybe they stopped making ones that have that spark you used to feel.

My 2012 Ford Focus had that feeling the first time I drove it. Man, that car just felt alive right off the lot. Then I got a 2020 model and it was like driving a toaster, no soul at all. I actually ended up trading it in after six months because it just never clicked with me.
