Whole new prep table arrived with a dent on the back corner - what would you do?

The delivery guys unloaded it and left before I could really check anything on Monday morning. I filed a claim but the distributor says it's 'cosmetic only' - does that dent bug anyone else or am I overthinking it and should just start using the thing?

So you're really gonna let them slide on a dented unit you paid full price for? Spencer Perry might be cool with a free conversation piece in his walk-in, but I'm not running a museum back there. You filed a claim, they said cosmetic only - that's them telling you to eat the loss. Push back harder. A dent on a new table means the structure got whacked, even if it's "just" cosmetic today. Get photos, call them back, and demand a partial refund or a swap.

Dent the back corner of my new prep table on delivery too. I spent a week staring at it and decided it was just a free conversation starter for the walk-in. Slap a sheet pan over it and forget about it.
