Grocery line math went from phone to mental, weirdly satisfying

I used to pull out my calculator app to add up stuff like produce codes and sale prices while waiting in line, took forever. Last Tuesday at the Kroger on 5th, I decided to just estimate in my head, rounding to the nearest dollar and tracking it as I unloaded the cart. Turns out I was within 4 bucks on a $87 order, and now it's like a mini game every time. Anyone else do this to pass the time, or am I just turning into my dad?
