Found a lunch spot in Portland that does full plates for $8

Stumbled into this place off Division Street last Tuesday. Little Vietnamese spot called Pho Bowl. Got a full plate of lemongrass chicken with rice and veggies. Eight bucks even. No tax trick or anything shady. Anyone else got a spot like that in their city?

Man that's a hell of a deal. I remember back in like 2015 I was working a job up in Seattle for a couple weeks and there was this teriyaki place in a strip mall. Full combo plate with chicken and rice and a little salad for like 6.50. I ate there almost every day until the job wrapped up. Place closed down a year later I think, rent probably got too high. It's wild how you can still find spots like that if you know where to look though, especially in neighborhoods that aren't all trendy yet. Makes me want to drive down to Portland just to try that pho spot.

Hold on @alex_hall91... driving all the way to Portland just for an $8 lunch plate seems like you're taking this a little too serious. I mean yeah it's a solid deal but gas alone would eat up whatever you're saving on food. These cheap spots pop up and disappear all the time anyway, wouldn't count on it being there by the time you roll through town.
