Seams splitting on me after installs, what gives?

I lay carpet in houses. The seams look tight when I finish. But they often come apart later. Like with that berber job last week. The seam opened up fast. How do you guys make seams last? I need some pointers.

Seam opened up fast? Typical, nothing holds up like it should.

Try using better seam sealer, heard that's key.
