Rant: Worst day I've had on the job in 8 years
Last Tuesday in Phoenix I spent 6 hours ripping out a carpet that someone had glued directly to concrete with construction adhesive. Has anyone else dealt with a homeowner who thought regular glue would work fine?

Glue is way stronger than staples so maybe the guy just wanted it to stay put forever.

Six hours with construction adhesive on concrete? Did the homeowner at least warn you before you started, or was it a nasty surprise when you pulled the first corner?
