The $2,400 certificate I bought with savings turned out to be a scam in Newark

I signed up for a data analytics course through a recruiter last March, paid the full amount upfront because they said enrollment closed in 48 hours, and when I finished the 6 weeks the company ghosted me and the certificate has no real accreditation, so has anyone else gotten burned by these short-term training programs that promise jobs but just collect your money?
