Spent $45 on a resume rewrote service and got 3 callbacks in a week

I dropped $45 on this local service that tweaked my resume and cover letter, and suddenly I'm getting interviews after months of silence. Did anyone else get a weird boost from paying a pro or was I just lucky?

Forty five bucks and suddenly you're popular, who knew all it took was a stranger rearranging your job history like fridge magnets. Guess my carefully crafted bullet points about being a "results driven team player" were just fancy ways of saying "please hire me I have bills." Sounds like you got lucky with a good writer, most of those services just swap out "synergy" for "collaboration" and call it a day. Maybe the secret is making your resume look like it was written by someone who actually has a job.

My buddy Kyle tried one of those services last year (paid like $60 I think) and he went from zero callbacks to two interviews the next month. Might be worth it if you find the right person, though.
