Saw a 'Now Hiring' sign at the gas station in my town that offered $17 an hour plus benefits.
It made me wonder if I'm undervaluing my own skills in my current office job that pays less and has worse health insurance, what do you think?

Honestly, that sign is the universe giving you a nudge. I've seen gas station jobs paying more than some office gigs lately, which is just wild. Makes you wonder if we all got tricked into thinking a desk job equals good pay. Maybe time to update that resume and see what's out there.

Know exactly what you mean. My cousin left a data entry job last year to work at a tire shop, and he's making more with overtime. It really does make you question the whole path we're told to follow.
