I finally bought a $200 standing desk converter and it saved my back in 2 weeks

My old setup was killing me - I'd get this dull ache after 4 hours at my desk. The converter lets me swap between sitting and standing whenever I need to. Has anyone else tried one and actually stuck with using it long term?

honestly I gotta disagree here. i tried a standing desk converter for a few months and it just made my feet and legs hurt instead. ended up switching to a good anti fatigue mat and a better chair and that fixed my back way more than standing ever did. maybe i just didn't give it enough time but standing for hours isn't naturally comfortable for me either.

Did you have the anti fatigue mat when you were trying the standing setup? I swear those are the real key, not just standing on hard floors. I grabbed a cheap one off Amazon and it made a night and day difference for me. Still can't do it all day but it's way better with a mat under you.
