Why does nobody talk about the fan campaign that saved a show with just 1,400 letters
I was at the Museum of Broadcasting in Chicago two weeks ago and found a display case about a show called Jericho that got cut in 2007. Fans mailed 40,000 pounds of nuts to CBS to get it back on the air, and it actually worked for one more season before they killed it again. I stood there thinking about how many great shows never got a campaign like that. Did any of you ever join a letter or email push for a show you loved, and did it actually do anything?
