My buddy at the trailhead said his new $300 sleeping pad is 'too comfortable' to get up for dawn hikes.
It got me thinking about gear that works a little too well and if anyone else has had a piece of equipment actually change their camping routine in a bad way.

Honestly that's a legit problem, not just a humble brag. If your gear makes you skip the main reason you went out there, it kinda backfired. A pad that good could totally wreck your sunrise summit plans because you just won't want to leave that cozy bubble.
