Swapped my fish tape for an air push rod on a 2-story job
Had to decide between my steel fish tape and one of those air propulsion push rods for a run through an office ceiling. Went with the air rod since it was a 60 foot drop ceiling with tight turns. Took about 20 minutes total, way faster than fighting the tape. Anyone else use these things or stick with the old way?

Wait, THREE 90s in a hung ceiling? No way. That's wild. I had trouble with just two 45s in a metal stud wall last week. Maybe I got a bad air rod or something but your story sounds like magic.

Used to swear by my steel tape no matter what, but grabbed an air rod on a rental and it totally changed my mind. That thing sailed through three 90s in a hung ceiling without me even breaking a sweat. Still keep the tape for rough stuff but the air rod's my go-to now for those tight plenum runs.
