Ngl, the downed lines on my block made me rethink how we anchor everything

Honestly, I drove past three houses with cables ripped off the sides from that wind last night. Tbh, it hit me that we might be skimping on the wall anchors in older homes. I saw the same cheap plastic plugs I used to use just lying in the mud. So on my job today, I swapped to metal anchors even though it took a bit longer. The homeowner asked why, and I explained it prevents future damage like on his street. Honestly, seeing the problem right where I live made it real for me. Ngl, it's worth the extra few minutes to do it right.
