Took me 11 tries to identify the squeak in my tiny terrarium lid
I got super into making mini moss terrariums in mason jars, but the lids kept emitting this weird high pitched creak every time the temp shifted at night. I swapped the gaskets, oiled the threads, even got a cheap hygrometer to check the seal, and it turned out the glass itself had a microfracture that only sang above 80% humidity. Has anyone else chased a noise in a tiny ecosystem or am I the only one losing sleep over a jar?

Wait, how did you even figure out it was the glass and not the gasket? Did you have to replace the whole jar or did you find some way to fix the microfracture?
