Found out 90% of competitive duck herders use border collies not ducks

Was browsing through some old UK farming journals at a flea market last week. Found a 2012 article about the National Duck Herding Championships. Thought it was all about training ducks. Nope. It's basically sheepdog trials but with a smaller flock. The ducks are just props. Feels like false advertising honestly. Anyone else get into a hobby and realize the name is totally misleading?

A buddy of mine started getting into competitive rabbit grooming. Turns out it's less about the rabbits and more about how fast you can clean a grooming table. He was pretty bummed when he showed up to his first meet and saw nobody was actually brushing the bunnies.

@matthewsullivan I read this article last week about how rabbit grooming competitions are mostly about speed cleaning the tables and equipment. It's wild that your friend showed up expecting to actually groom bunnies! Sounds like the whole thing is more about who can wipe down a table the fastest.
