That time I rebranded a coffee shop and forgot to update the napkins

I was sitting in the shop 3 days after the launch when a customer pointed out the old logo on the napkins, and I had to scramble to get 5,000 new ones printed overnight while the owner gave me the death glare from behind the counter.

Call out the old logo at a staff meeting and make it a game - first person to spot an old napkin wins a free drink. Turns a headache into something fun and gets everyone looking out for them.

Wait, a FREE drink for spotting an old napkin? @morgan915 you're a genius and also maybe a little crazy. One of those old napkins could be hiding under a stack of plates in the back of a cabinet for like five years, that's some deep archaeological stuff you're asking people to dig for. I can already see someone on their hands and knees checking under the soda fountain for a crinkled up 2018 logo. But seriously, turning that headache into a treasure hunt is probably the only way anyone is going to voluntarily look for that stuff without complaining the whole time.
