Saw a small coffee shop in Portland that changed their logo 3 times in 6 months

Stopped by Common Grounds on Hawthorne last week and the barista said they rebrand twice a year trying to stay cool. On one hand sticky with your identity builds trust, but on the other refreshing keeps you from looking stale. Is it better to lock in a look or keep tweaking until you find something that sticks?

Wait, twice a year sounds like panic not strategy. A logo change that often tells customers you don't know what you are yet.
