Finally standardized our brand colors after 3 years of chaos
For the longest time, every new hire would just pick whatever shade of blue they felt like for presentations and social graphics. Last month I finally sat down and locked in exact hex codes for everything. My designer said it was about time. Anyone else deal with a brand that got totally out of hand before someone reined it in?

What was the biggest fight you had when someone refused to use the new codes?

Did you have to fight anyone over it or did your team just roll with it once you had it all mapped out? I've seen companies where the brand guidelines were basically a suggestion and it drove the marketing people absolutely crazy trying to keep things looking consistent. Locking in those hex codes is a huge relief, I bet your designer was thrilled to finally have something solid to work from.
