Can we talk about how I spent 5 hours chasing a logo color mismatch on our Shopify store last Tuesday?
Our new brand kit said the hex code was #1F4E79 but the logo kept showing up brighter on the product pages. Turned out the theme had a color filter set to 110% saturation that nobody on the team remembered adding back in March, and I only caught it because I held a printout up to my screen in the kitchen. Has anyone else had a platform quietly tweak your brand colors without telling you?

Something similar happened to me when our theme's CSS had a filter messing with grays and our clients kept asking why the site looked off. What helped was adding a line in our launch checklist to spot check colors right on the live site, not just in the brand kit files. Since then we've caught two other theme settings that would've quietly shifted things.
