My friend said my plant obsession is just a phase, and it got me thinking.
He told me, 'You just like the way they look, you don't really care about the science.' It made me realize I've never actually tried to learn the Latin names for any of my 20 houseplants. Do you think you need the textbook knowledge to be a real botany lover?
