Shoutout to the endpaper that refused to stick

Spent three entire days trying to get a single sheet of handmade paper to adhere without bubbling. The paste was right, the paper was right, but my workspace humidity was off by a mile. Anyone have a solid method for dealing with stubborn, cockled paper?

Workspace humidity was off by a mile" is the whole story. So much effort comes down to one tiny environmental factor you didn't consider. It's a good reminder that perfect materials can still fail without the right conditions.

Honestly, I feel this so hard. I ruined a whole batch of prints last year because my basement was way too dry. Tbh I just grabbed a cheap humidifier from the store and a basic digital hygrometer to keep an eye on it. Ngl it felt silly at first but it fixed everything. Now checking the humidity is just part of my setup routine before I even start a project.
