Watched The Martian after reading the book in 2 days, now I'm mad at my own reading pace
I read The Martian in 2 days last month and loved all the science talk. Then I watched the movie and it felt like someone took out all the stuff that made me think. Honestly the movie was still good, but I missed the parts where he figures out how to grow potatoes with his own poop. Tbh I get that movies need to cut stuff for time, but some scenes just hit harder in the book. So which side are you on? Do you prefer the book's slow build or the movie's quick pace?
