Stood in the Powell's Books sci-fi aisle in Portland and counted 11 copies of Dune, then thought about the movie
I was killing time at Powell's on Burnside last Saturday and noticed they had 11 copies of Dune on the shelf, spread across three different editions. What got me was that half of them had those movie tie-in covers with Timothee Chalamet's face on them, and it made me think about how many people grabbed the book only after seeing the film. I get why studios do it, but it bums me out a little that the cover art gets replaced. Does the tie-in cover bother anyone else, or am I just being picky?
