Caught my kid watching the movie first, and now she won't touch the book, learn from my mistake
I let my 10 year old watch the Hunger Games movie last month because I figured it would get her into the books, and she has zero interest in reading them now since she already knows how it ends. I tried the reverse with Holes and started her on the book, and she blew through it in 3 days then loved pointing out what the movie left out. Has anyone found a fix for a kid who already saw the movie first and won't go back to the source?
