Finally came around on audiobooks after a 12 hour drive to Nashville

I used to think audiobooks weren't real reading until I had to drive from Atlanta to Nashville solo last month. Finished two whole books in one trip and didn't miss a single exit. Anyone else have a moment where they flipped on a format?

@riverm48 what speed do you usually set yours to for long drives?

Oh man, that's the exact same drive that converted me too. I'd say start with something shorter and more exciting like a thriller or memoir so you don't zone out, and 1.5x speed is usually the sweet spot for most narrators. Once you get the hang of it, you'll never look at traffic the same way again.
