Remember when you had to wait a whole week for the next episode of your favorite show?

Now my whole family binged the new season of 'Stranger Things' in a single weekend, which honestly feels a bit crazy. Does anyone else miss the old water-cooler talk about weekly cliffhangers?

I mean honestly I LOVE the binge model. You get the full story fresh in your mind and you catch every little detail because you're not forgetting stuff between weeks. With weekly episodes I'd always forget character names or miss some clue they dropped three episodes ago. Plus there's something amazing about deciding "ok one more episode" at 2am and just going for it. Stranger Things especially works way better all at once with all those callbacks and references to earlier seasons. Maybe it's just me but I'll take the weekend marathon over the slow drip every time.

Forget the show, miss the shared wait.

Wait, you watched a whole season in two days? That's wild, I could never keep up with the story that fast. It all just becomes a blur and you miss the little things.
