PSA: skipping the intro on Dark really messes up the vibe
I skipped the first 30 seconds of each episode for three episodes and totally lost track of the timeline jumps. Anyone else find the intro music actually helps you follow the show?

Wait, has nobody considered that the intro music actually acts like a reset button for your brain? It's not just a song, it's like a countdown timer that tells your brain "okay, pay attention now, we're jumping to a different year." I binged the whole first season with the intro and never got lost once, but my friend skipped it and had to constantly rewind because he couldn't tell if a scene was 1983 or 2015. The music's got this pulsing rhythm that somehow syncs up with how the timeline shifts feel, like it's literally preparing you mentally for the chaos. Skipping it is basically turning off the GPS for your brain while driving through a foggy time loop.

108 minutes into episode 4 is when I realized I'd already missed two timeline shifts because I skipped the intro. @samthompson nailed it with the GPS analogy, I literally had to start episodes over because I kept thinking a scene was 1986 when it was actually 2019. The music totally preps your brain for the time jump, like it's a short countdown before chaos. Made it through season 2 without skipping once and never got lost.
