I used to think 'The Walking Dead' was a must-watch, but season 7 changed my mind

Honestly, the show felt totally different after the first six seasons. The pacing in season 7, especially with that drawn-out Negan intro, just killed the momentum for me. It went from a show I'd watch the night it aired to something I gave up on after about 5 episodes. Has anyone else felt a show completely lost its binge-ability like that?

Ugh, tell me about it. I stuck it out way longer than I should have, like a glutton for punishment. I think I finally quit when they spent a whole season building a bridge that just got blown up anyway.

Yeah, the boat stuff was just marking time... felt like they ran out of ideas and just needed to keep people moving from point A to point B. The whole thing was just a bunch of filler episodes with bad weather and supply problems. Honestly, that's when the show really started to drag for me.
