Finally finished The Wire after 3 failed attempts over 5 years

Kept bouncing off season 2 every time, but this month I pushed through and season 4 hit like a brick. Has anyone else needed multiple tries before a show finally clicked for them?

Got to respect that persistence honestly. Same thing happens with books and new foods too, sometimes you just gotta catch them at the right moment in your life to actually enjoy them. Once you're in the right headspace, everything clicks way different.
