Appreciation post: I chose to watch 'Severance' over 'The White Lotus' this weekend and my brain is still buzzing.
The choice was between a sunny, satirical vacation and a creepy, corporate mystery, and going with the weird office thriller for 5 straight hours was the best call because that season finale left me staring at my screen saying 'what' for a solid minute.

My own job is boring enough without watching a show about a fancy hotel. The creepy office mystery felt like a weirdly good fit. I just sat there after the finale wondering if my own boss has a secret basement.

My boss just asked me to file the quarterly TPS reports and I got a full body chill. I spent the whole meeting staring at the back of his head, trying to see if he had a weird implant scar. My own office coffee maker now looks suspicious. I think the show broke my brain for regular work stuff.
