Am I the only one who thinks a show's ending can ruin the whole binge?
I just finished binging 'The Last Kingdom' over a long weekend. The show was great for 4 seasons, but the final season felt rushed and the last episode left a major plot thread hanging. My friend argued that the journey is what matters for a binge, not the destination. But for me, a bad ending sours the whole experience, like spending 40 hours on a book with a terrible last chapter. Has anyone else dropped a show's rating because of how it finished?

Ugh, don't get me started! I'm still mad about the 'Game of Thrones' finale, and I watched that years ago. I gave it five stars right up until the last season, then dropped it to two. A bad ending totally rewrites my memory of the whole show.

Remember all the great stuff that came before. The Red Wedding was still shocking, the dragons were still cool, and "Hold the Door" still wrecked you. A few bad episodes don't erase years of good TV. It's like getting a bad dessert after a great meal, you don't say the whole dinner was terrible. The journey mattered more than the final stop.

Man, you're totally right! A bad ending can really poison the well. I did the same thing with my rating for that show, it just felt dishonest to leave it high after how it finished. It's like the writers forgot everything that made the story good in the first place. That final season just left a sour taste that's hard to forget.
