That one Wednesday last fall where I did 18 hot towel shaves back to back

I had a day last October where every single customer wanted a full straight razor shave and by hour six my wrist was so cramped I could barely hold the razor, but the tips were insane and I made $340 in one shift, has anyone else had a day that just completely wiped you out but paid off huge?

18 hot towel shaves back to back? Girl, my hand is cramping just reading that. I pulled a 12 hour shift once at a salon doing nothing but brow waxes and laminations and I thought I was gonna die, but 18 straight razors takes the cake. You must have had zero feeling in your thumb by the end of it. $340 though is wild, that's like a full week of tips for me on a slow month. Honestly I would probably cry happy tears and also never move my wrist again.

Dont even get me started on the thumb cramp thing. That kind of repetitive motion messes with your whole hand for days. I had a similar deal once doing hot stone massages for a wedding party and my fingers were locked up for a week. $340 is no joke though, thats basically a whole weekend of work for some people. Makes you wonder if the money is worth the physical toll. Honestly id take the cash and ice my wrist for two days straight.
