Question about my oven died mid bake and I baked 30 cupcakes in a toaster oven, took 3 rounds
My oven quit on me last Saturday, right after I filled 30 cupcake liners for my niece's birthday party. I ended up baking them in my little toaster oven in 3 rounds of 10, and each batch took about 22 minutes instead of the usual 18. The tops came out fine but I had to rotate the pan halfway through every single round or the back ones would burn. Has anyone else had to bake in small batches like this, and did you find a trick to keep the texture the same as a full oven?
