My neighbor's offhand comment about my sourdough crust changed how I score
She said my loaves looked 'too perfect, like bakery props' and that threw me. I stopped chasing those fancy ear patterns and just let the dough do its thing, now I actually enjoy baking again. Anyone else get stuck on looks over taste?
