Just made my 1000th loaf of sourdough and it hit me different
I've been baking the same recipe since 2018 and yesterday was loaf number 1,000. Never thought I'd stick with anything that long. Anyone else keep count of a specific bake?

Hit me different" - is it really that deep though? I mean congrats on 1,000 loaves, that's a lot of bread. But like, it's still just bread at the end of the day, right?

Right? It's wild how something so simple can hit like that. I made pancakes from a recipe my grandma used to make and got all choked up over batter. It's never really about the bread or the pancakes, it's the whole story behind it.
