Vent: Battlefield Earth is my go-to comfort movie and I don't care

Everyone says it's terrible, but I laugh through the whole thing. The way John Travolta chews the scenery just makes my day.

John Travolta chewing scenery for two hours straight is comedy GOLD. It's so over-the-top that it becomes this weirdly comforting background noise. @elizabeth220 gets it, comfort media doesn't have to be high art.
