My friend said 'The Room' is just bad, but I think he's missing the point
We watched it last Friday at my place, and he kept pointing out the plot holes and weird acting. I told him that's exactly why it's fun, like the famous 'Oh hi Mark' scene that makes no sense. Anyone else have a movie where the bad parts are what make it good?

Honestly saw an interview where the guy who made it said they wrote the whole script in like two weeks. Tbh that explains a lot. The fun part is watching it with friends and yelling at the tv. Ngl if you take it even a little bit serious you're gonna have a bad time.

The dumbness is just a cover for how boring it is. It's not fun-bad, it's just a checklist of things to put on screen. The whole thing feels like a tax write-off.
