My friend said 'The Room' is just bad, but I think he's missing the point

We watched it last Friday at my place, and he kept pointing out the plot holes and weird acting. I told him that's exactly why it's fun, like the famous 'Oh hi Mark' scene that makes no sense. Anyone else have a movie where the bad parts are what make it good?

Sharknado is the best example. The whole point is how dumb it is.

The dumbness is just a cover for how boring it is. It's not fun-bad, it's just a checklist of things to put on screen. The whole thing feels like a tax write-off.
